For most of the game we looked very poor with no threat up front. Half time saw us behind and it could have been more . As the game wore on we started to find some momentum and string some passes together. Two late goals and any faint worrying about relegations was gone.
Once again Paul Tisdale was there and looked to be getting more animated. Wonder what his role might turn out to be?
Where the team needs strengthening is obvious, so with so much being invested off the pitch, one would expect things happening on the playing side. The retained list might give some indication of what is planned. Time will tell? Another good gate that needs to be built on with winning football.

Time wasting must be harder graft than I thought and it caught up with them.

Yes we are mathematically safe which must be a great relief given where we were in January. Mel said he will now give some game time to fringe players which is right, not that we have many! We might see a couple of Academy lads as well but noticeably they have not been included at all since Mel arrived which suggests they are not really in contention.

They have been taken over by a group of very young adults who are youtubers and seem to be able to do achieve a lot of social media popularity.

Helps also winning the league also.

First half, if it wasn't for Alan Julian and some last ditch defending, it could have been four.
Hampton didn't create much, although there was one strange occurance when the ref waved play on when there was a foul on the edge of the area, there was then another in the area so the ref brought playback and gave the original free kick.

Second half was very scrappy with Weymouth having the clearer chances and Hampton's attempts being either blocked or not quite falling to the correct player.
The visitors took every opportunity to slow the game down, by going down supposedly injured, but then springing to life.
A Hampton equaliser finally came and The Terras head dropped and the winner came in the 89th minute, at which point the roles were reversed and it was The Beavers who slowed the game down.
I would go as far as to say that it was an undeserved victory, but we have probably played better and lost.
A very good crowd of nearly 800, saw a victory that confirmed survival.
