1-1. Start the club car. A fair result in my opinion despite us conceding late. I listened to some of the watch-along commentary too - it was superb!

Deserved more from that, our best performance so far. Boreham Wood look very ordinary and were fortunate to get a point.

Totally agree, Josh, our best performance so far.
I was talking last week about how we should lean into the fact that we DON’T have fast wingers but we DO have a good central midfield who are good at pass and move. As Pep says, it all begins in the middle. In the first half, we did this really well.
Unfortunately we changed that a little in the second half, and went longer. I get it, their back line looked a bit shaky under the long ball, but it meant we gave them the ball a bit much.
Thought the defence was better too. Higher line and midfield more pressing, and sensible pressing.
Just a really good performance all-round.
Special shout out to Mike Atkinson, who did a great impersonation of N’golo Kante today. He was everywhere. And Bumni caused havoc at the heart of their defence.
If we play like that every week, we’ll be fine.
The only criticism is that sometimes we don’t shoot enough, and when defending set plays we need to be a bit more streetwise.

A good crowd.
A decent performance. We were much stronger first half.
And good to see the brothers/owners back supporting the team as they were behind the goal for most of the match.

I thought Atkinson played really well. Surprised not to see him as an option on the MoM contenders.

Certainly an improved performance with several players starting to understand what is required at this level. Don’t think anyone had a poor game agree that Atkinson had a very good game but then the whole midfield unit looks good and Is well balanced. Hopefully Atkinson is ok as he went off near the end. Curd had good game again and so far Desbois has not been missed.
Agree it was disappointing to concede in injury time but, on reflection, it was a fair result against a team who budget is so much greater than ours.
Cause for optimism., long may it continue.

Atkinson, Revan and Bumni were excellent. Played well but rode our luck. Always look vulnerable to set pieces and carry no real threat at our own. But much better to watch than last season.

Best performance I've seen this season from us. Battling, as well as some nice, fluid football. Keep it up lads, we made Wood look pretty ordinary today.

A couple of spelling mistakes within that report referring to our Dominic Revan!
