Who is our goalkeeper today? "Krampton" per the team sheet.

Is it actually supposed to be Kai Crampton - 17 year old keeper from Chelsea?
Quite possible we have done a short-term deal with Chelsea while Ted is away.

Some interesting changes to the starting XI with Wall starting, Babajide Keeya and Vilhete dropped. New keeper, Krampton, although could be another Chelsea youngster , Kai Crampton.

I think that’s the case, only goalkeeper that comes up when searching “Krampton.” Spent last season loan at Concord Rangers.

Frustration all round as we failed to convert dominant possession into goals and a poor St Albans side scored with virtually their only attack of the second half. Williams hit the bar with a long range shot and we had one cleared off the line but too often we were not ruthless enough in the box, either a weak finish or poor final ball.

Lost to a poor St Albans team who if they continue to perform like that will be relegated. As will we unfortunately unless we find a goal scorer. Wall was more concerned with tangling with the CH and arguing with the ref rather than sticking the ball in the back of the net. The game died for us when Atkinson went off as at thst point we surrendered the midfield. Good performances from French, Roberts, Taylor, Williams but don't play with enough conviction despite some pretty football and lots of possession.

Sounds like the manager was right to get his excuses in early with the way the team played today.

The longer that game went on, the more it had an inevitability about it.

I was a little bemused when I saw the team sheet. We’d put three of our most creative players on the bench.

And I think it showed in the way we played.

The make-up of that team wasn’t conducive to the way we’ve been playing up till now. I think the players played as if they were confused. In my humble opinion, I think Jules should stick to one style, given he doesn’t have much time with the players.

St Albans were very average too. So, a missed opportunity.

A very frustrating afternoon.

We hit the bar in the first half, and had another cleared off the line.

Dominated the second half, with numerous shots blocked or easily saved.

St. Albans scored with their only shot on target, although they defended well, looked very poor.

A very disappointing result.

Did anyone notice the two dozen fans on the main terrace wearing Richmond FC/Ted Lasso shirts.
I am not sure if they were tourists but it is money into the club.......
