Felt we didn't have a lot of time to see his potential. Solid player though.HamptonLifer5 wrote: Tue Jan 20, 2026 5:00 pm Ben Jackson has joined Worthing. It hought he was really tidy for us, so not surprised at a move near the top of this league. Aldershot's post referred to this league as the Southern National League which was quite amusing.
Serious question from a long distance supporter who's only seen 2 games live this season. Why does Rodari seem to attract such disparaging comments on this forum? He scored some very good goals at the start of the season. In view of our recent goal famine, I'm surprised we let him go. It seems I'm not getting the full picture here.
I think it's the fact he was "snapped up" by a National League club, albeit by a manager who he had played for before. He did have his moments for us, but I don't think anybody thought he was an obvious candidate to move up a tier. I don't suppose there is too much we can do to have him stay when an offer comes in from a much bigger club playing higher up the pyramid.RogerB wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 10:22 pm Serious question from a long distance supporter who's only seen 2 games live this season. I think it's hard to turn down that sort of offer but I don't think he's anywhere near step 1 level.geedub wrote: Sat Jan 24, 2026 10:40 pmI think it's the fact he was "snapped up" by a National League club, albeit by a manager who he had played for before.
