Again another big step up for a young player. He’s a right back I think.

I hope it’s competition for Archy and not a replacement

Bunmi Babajide looks like he’s off to Tonbridge.

I can obviously see why the club can't just announce that none of our players from last season are likely to be coming back, but let's be honest, that is looking more and more like the case isn't it?
Signing one or two players from a step or two below is a big ask, but any more than that and it could turn out to be a long season ahead. You do need SOME experience.

Not just experience (i agree) but also continuity at this level is super important.

These boys won’t gel properly until Jan just to rip it all up again in May

It will be bizarre if nearly everyone from last season moves on and I think it will require some explanation from the manager/ chairman why this has happened. Is it down to Alan not wanting them or the players not wanting to stay.

Did the club ever announce Jake Gray’s departure? I don’t recall seeing anything online. It’s a real shame if that’s the case, a long serving player like that at least deserves a thank you and I think most supporters would want to be kept informed.

Hoping for better coms this season but the club need to ditch this policy from the old regime of staying silent on ‘bad’ news to give the impression that we’re winning the transfer market.

That's really well put Jim, couldn't agree more. I'd much rather see this than the current obsession with posting new signings as a kid before the later proper announcement.

I'm not sure who is now doing comms at the club but we could do with a further update from the Chairman or Manager. It's looking a very inexperienced squad from the 10 that have been announced to date. We probably have anther 10 or so to go.

I don't think there's any need to completely panic yet...we're only in mid June, there will be a lot of the more experienced players around hedging their bets and weighing up their options right up until the start of the season proper and probably even just after. It's a waiting game...
