Callum O’Keefe signed. A product of the Academy played three times last season. Not sure how much he’ll play this season.

Good luck to the young man but that barely counts as a "new" signing...

A little bit of a damp squib for sure - but let's hope Callum can step up and play a valuable part.

That would be asking a lot of the young lad given the physical side of the NLS.

A fit Ince is the best player in the league. I wonder what he's making of the signings because on paper there is a big gulf between him and the rest of the squad.

You just have to wonder whether Ince will be anywhere near his old self. Arguably if he were, he might be looking at a bigger club.

Did the club ever announce Jake Gray’s departure? I don’t recall seeing anything online. It’s a real shame if that’s the case, a long serving player like that at least deserves a thank you and I think most supporters would want to be kept informed.
Hoping for better coms this season but the club need to ditch this policy from the old regime of staying silent on ‘bad’ news to give the impression that we’re winning the transfer market.
That's really well put Jim, couldn't agree more. I'd much rather see this than the current obsession with posting new signings as a kid before the later proper announcement.
I don't think the two things have to be mutually exclusive. I really like the new signing announcements, it's quite a fresh take on the signing announcements tweets, and I think it adds a bit of family feel to things. Obviously that doesn't preclude something nice being said about departing players as well...

Another defender, Paul Field joins from Walton and Hersham.

He's very much a play from the back type defender which will suit our style but he'll need to get use to the speed of press that you get at NLS compared to step 3 where you get more time on the ball. Looks classy on the ball.
