I thought Brown had confirmed he was staying some time ago.

Disappointing but expected.

The social media team seems to have not quite mastered the wording for exiting players yet. Good that we made a tweet wishing him well but I'm surprised we are "delighted to announce that..." one of our stronger players has left. I would have thought we should be saying something like we are sad to see him go but realise he has the potential to develop and play at a higher level etc etc.

Think I’m right in saying we have only announced the departures of Fernandez and Thomas. Does that suggest they were the only ones where we got a fee?

Interesting that several players are going to the West Country. Wonder if there is any connections with Paul a Tisdale or Mel?
