Well, although we haven't really created any clear cut chances yet, we don't seem to be quite as abysmal as other recent games. Worthing are knocking it around well and will probably step it up a notch in the second half but they've also been quite wasteful so far.
The ongoing absence of Roberts is a concern though...has he been released too, and the info not given out or something?

We still need another win to be sure of safety!

Aveley relegated. Agree we need another couple of points from somewhere. Await reports.

Dont worry the 12th April Welling at home will give us points.

Some upbeat comments from Julian on the game. Will await fuller reports and comments later.
On his interview Julian commented that the same referee had previously sent him off and given a soft penalty. Just coincidence?

Jules made his usual post-game positive comments but then he always does, so it tends to lose its affect. It's really admirable in some ways, after all he has to defend his team selection and players. It's definitely true that we showed a lot more resilience today, and certainly seemed to try a bit harder, but in truth we really didn't carve out many real chances, and Worthing squandered quite a few.
Couldn't really see the penalty incident well enough to make a real judgement from our distance, but it did look a bit soft from where we were. Unfortunately Jules did seem to go ballistic at the Ref, and it can't have been a surprise that he was sent off.
With results below us as they were, we are now only eight points clear. It's worrying...Aveley might be down but St. Albans are showing signs of an improvement. With 15 points to play for it is still unlikely that we'll be relegated, but I still can't see us winning again this season and it could go down to the wire. Really, for whatever reason, budget or whatever, we aren't good enough.
Regarding James Roberts...what on earth is going on? And is Gray still injured?
