Some good performances especially Babajide and Atkinson but are weak in the air at both ends of the pitch. We carry no real threat from set pieces and always look vulnerable from balls into the box. Did Critchlow, Hunt and Cheadle al sign with long term injuries?

Unlucky not to take a point from the game. We play well with the ball but are prone to defensive lapses.

Hunt I believe was on contract, Chritchlow was injured pre season but did have periods out last season but no idea if this is a recurrence of a previous issue, Cheadle seemed to get injured in the first pre season game but again not sure of the problem. Club is not giving out any info on timings for returns.

It might be prudent from the club’s point of view not to give injury updates. However from what we know and understand these three players have injury records over previous seasons, so taking them on again this season was going to be risk. Depending on the prognosis of each player, the time might be coming to consider whether it is possible to part ways enabling our limited budget to be used to fill positions that folk are currently alluding to that be addressed.

I see we now have fourth officials in NLS. That won’t help Jules keep his card count down!

To answer my own question, Babajide did indeed score the second goal.

I see Worthing beat our next league opponents, Borehamwood, 2-1 last night.
