To my way of thinking, the squad is slightly unbalanced, Williams is far better used in midfield and agree about the left back situation. Think everyone will agree about the central defence role, think Fernandez might be out of our reach.

As he says a blatant penalty for us in the first half and their penalty was generous, perhaps the ref thought he should have given them one earlier, but to give a marginal call in the 93rd minute……
The highlights suggest it was a very dubious penalty. Alan Julian will no doubt be furious with that decision.

Good quality highlights from Tonbridge up now:

Our first-half penalty claim not included. Their penalty looks like a shocking decision - terrible dive from Liam Vincent

Blatant dive. Liam Vincent should be ashamed of himself.

Would agree a dive he had little chance of getting the ball so threw himself onto the ground.

Let's be honest. Hampton are throwing games away and losing points and cup runs. You can't blame penalties given, poor refereeing or other dodgy decisions. It's up to the manager and the team to cut out the mistakes and get fit enough to last a match.

I can't understand why the club has not appointed you Director of Football, tones.

If the referee had not given them a fake penalty, we would not have conceded an equaliser.
If we had been given the clear penalty we should have had in the first half, we could well have been two goals ahead. When I look back at the season so far, we've had a two footed studs up tackle on Mike Atkinson against Salisbury right in front of the ref where not even a FK was given, Bunmi Babajide punched in the head by the goalkeeper which was given as a goal kick, Kris Campbell sent off for having his shirt pulled, and a penalty given against us for a foul a metre outside the box. I don't think I'm exaggerating to say I've never seen so many really, really bad decisions in such a short space of time.

This view of their penalty might be the best angle to decide if deserved or not. Slight contact by Roberts on Vincent but he makes a big meal of it.
