Alex Wall has been released.

Not sure this makes much difference from a playing perspective but suspect it is cost driven as we wind down the season.

Agree about Wall, but is it part of a reduction in spending across the club? The playing of Wiltshire up front last Tuesday suggested he was surplus to requirements.

I did wonder if this ploy was a hint to Wall that he isn’t needed. Might have been on a contract so needed some encouragement to agree a termination?

Not a squad change but I notice Max Merrick has been called up to the England U20 squad for games on 21st/24th March so likely will miss the Maidstone game.

Looking back on the squad tracker I updated during the summer and stopped updating when the league season started. It looks like we have 9 left who started the season:

Hunt,

Wiltshire,

Keeya,

Roberts &
Alfie Williams

I think we should give Luka Ziger an opportunity to start. He has travelled to all the matches in recent months, usually just being used as the second keeper in the warm-up for Ted/Max, often not even being named on the bench. It's not like we have anything riding on the game...

That's impressive commitment. On that basis I'd like to see the lad given a chance.

We have another midfield player on loan from Port Vale, Diamond Edwards who was recently on loan at Weymouth. Can’t follow the logic as we have so many players in that position, unless there is some exits or long term injuries.
Would have thought a striker would have been more preferable!

I remember him when he played for Weymouth again us, probably their best player on the night. But very similar to Siziba in positioning and style of play. I think that is six loan players now so maybe someone is going back.
