I wonder how much money was lost not having a ground sponsor the last 2 seasons and how much the name the ground competition use to raise for the club?

Reports from yesterday suggest the new regime will be much more realistic about our ambition but will still want to push the club forward on and off the pitch. Sadly Champions League in 10years is off the agenda. Some Ramayana investors brought in by the Petruzzos will probably bail at some point but there are enough in the Forbes camp to support plans. Ben Hudson’s programme notes promise a much more stable financial position and Ben is not known for making wild claims so I feel pretty positive that we can stay competitive for next season. I would like to see real fan engagement through the Trust however that may shape up. The appeal for volunteers will be more successful if the Trust is given a more prominent role and I know they are keen to step up also. Let’s see what develops.

Sounds positive, a period of realism and stability is probably what is needed. Repaired relations with the Trust can only be a good thing.

Like other contributors I have been encouraged by both what Ben and Alan have said. There seems to be some optimism as well as realistic expectation for the future. Fan involvement is a big step forward and voluntary help does reduce overheads!
Reading between the lines it might be that the playing budget for next season has had some framework done on it which is good, as if we are going to complete in a league that becomes competitive then an increase must be on the cards.
Alan did suggest fielding some teams giving a try out to some other players in these final three games hopefully not too many we want to go into the summer on a happy note!

Ramayana company name changed to Painswick Club Inv Limited today.

Nice to see the back of the Ramayana name.

Good to see the back of Ramayana and more importantly the Beaver Trust and former volunteers being re-engaged.

It’s only a change of name, let’s see how things develop over the next few weeks. For example the make up of the club board, the level of investment in both the infrastructure both in personnel and capital assets plus most importantly the players.

Maybe in the next few weeks a report of the Slough Town match will appear for us to read!

I could give you one if you’re that desperate for one? Or you could alternatively read Slough’s?

You need to realise that there have been changes to the off field staff and things have changed. On the website the last report was Welling so there’s three games missing!
Hopefully we will see appointments to fill roles off the field as well as to the playing staff.
