271 minutes per goal isn't too inspring.

It’s asking a lot for all these young players to gell into a team that wins a game at our level. Little or no experience at our level. It’s beginning to look like the undecided players from last season will not be remaining. The budget cut if the figures mentioned is true, has been severely reduced, no wonder Mel left!

I saw Westfield on Saturday, not sure Archy Taylor featured, but Alan might take a look as Ezekiel Coker, the centre forward and the two wide players. It is a huge step up form Combined Counties but Coker looks to have all the attributes of a classic centre forward.

I have been reliably informed that I was in fact watching Westside rather than Westfield. It has been a long season.

Nope, they are for now, unfortunately this is what a reduced budget of around 2k per week gets you…
Where are you getting that from?

Players, agents and people fairly well connected at the club.

I was actually told by a player that “2-3k per week is being generous” and instead will be signing for a team in the league below us.

I'm very excited about Josh Williams. I think we're a stepping stone to big things in the future for him.

Keeya is from the Donovan Chislett connection having come through Met Police's youth system then taken to Enfield Town by Gavin McPherson and then on loan to Badshot Lea. Made 8 appearances for Enfield Town last season. Archie Taylor is also ex Met Police.

Same, if all goes well he should be one who goes pro in the summer and we can get a good fee for him.

Ref talk of budget. If this is true, then the cut brings our budget lower than it has been for many years. If you compare our signings to Ks then they have a more experienced squad and they are two levels below! Our only hope is that the next signings can redress the imbalance!

I reckon the club will be hoping that Jules can tap into the loan market with football league clubs covering the majority of their salary. Then, we can pray for a good FA Cup run, which can be reinvested into the playing squad for the latter part of the season.

I think you are being optimistic, pro clubs will want recall clauses so we could lose a player in 24 hours . As for a FA Cup run, loans players will not be used for fear of getting them cup tied. Depending on the rest of the squad if they are similar to today’s recruitment, then we will do well to put any cup run together.
Sorry to be pessimistic but that’s the way I see it . Let’s hope Alan has some better news soon.
