Truly odd stuff isn't it. Well they haven't elevated my match day experience. It'll take more than a pizza van and an outside drinking area to do that.
Yes, it's certainly is odd to claim that you have elevated the match day experience for supporters but that they will not have noticed it !!
Never let the truth get in the way of self-publicity!

What continues to puzzle me, and no doubt a few other, is the '£1m spend', allegedly on the 'fabric'. The only figure ever quoted is £150k on electrical work for emergency lighting which was needed and can be seen. £850k was spent on what? The beer shed in the inner car park; the marquee in the same area; a few flashy heaters, pitch maintenance? There is certainly no other visible improvements within the ground. The 'owners' wanted to dovetail the 3G pitch/Floodlights with a complete revamp of the stadium. What was overlooked is that one requires planning permission to knock down the 'old' and build the 'new' and our local council are not known for ignoring planning laws, especially when they own Beveree. In the past the club had to make a case just to prune the trees..... never mind erect a shed!

Yes, where that £850k went is a real mystery. Perhaps financial control was a concern to investors.
The floodlights and 3G pitch did get planning approval in Nov-22 and Feb-23 respectively though both applications seem to have been initiated before the brothers were recorded as taking control. Obviously neither of those projects were progressed under the brothers watch. The only other application was a retrospective one for the temporary media tower granted in July 2024 (for a period of 3 years).

I think the wording has always been carefully chosen around what has been invested and how it has been spent.
I think we know that £1.4M in total was put into the club and converted from loans to equity according to the March 24 announcement. (Interestingly the paperwork for that issue of equity has not been filed at Companies House. Did the conversion ever happen in the end? I guess we will find out when the next accounts come out.)
On top of cost of the electrics, the new pitch also must have cost a fair bit and there has been some expenditure on the fan zone, but I think the mystery cost is really just operating losses for last season - mainly arising from the very high payroll costs. Although things like "we managed to inject over £1M to revive crumbling facilities" are said, I think that could be taken to mean over £1M was invested in the club and some of that money was used to fund renewal of crumbling facilities.

News Article :

Looks like the journalist has just taken the bones of the latest linked in post and added it to the article.
These plans aren't new, they were being shown around immediately after the take over and used in presentations to Academy parents in March / April 2023. The only change is the removal of the 3G pitch element. You can tell the age of them by the badge being used in the images.

Re Teddington hub report. Where exactly is the £2m coming from, the investors have mostly 'left the buiding'.

The journalist (or AI) that created the Teddington Hub article seems to have got the wrong end of the stick. The LinkedIn post is the deluded brothers saying what would have happened if they hadn't 'pandered' to their investors.

If they were there might not be a club for us to watch.

I really have to question this. Yes we may well have completely run out of funding options at that time but wouldn't the more likely outcome have been that we would have ended up with a couple of successive relegation and ended up back in the lower reaches of the Isthmian league or something?
