Thought we were poor. Allsopp scored our goal, but they were the best side we have played yet. Moved the ball well and deserved to win the game.

Any detail on the line up. Did Ince, Fasanmade or Grego Cox make an appearance?

It seems that it is going to be a long and hard season for the club, the team and the supporters.

Hi, from my notes:
Hampton lined up with a trialist at right back (the same one as seen in recent games); Jude Mason at left back; Alan Massey and Harry Thomas at the centre of defence; Ibrahim Jalloh on the left of midfield; Eddie Allsopp on the right of midfield; Sam Deadfield and Luke Robertson in the middle of the park; Davide Rodari the front man with Harry Gardner supporting. Seemingly not present were Luka Ziger, Stan Flaherty, Craig Fasanmade, Rohan Ince, Ronan Silva and Reece Grego-Cox. Squad info below, subject to correction/change, checking with others present. I have redacted names of trialists as not sure the club want them published.
1 James Holden, 3 Jude Mason, 4 Luke Robertson, 5 Alan Massey (c), 6 Harry Thomas, 7 Davide Rodari, 8 Sam Deadfield, 11 Eddie Allsopp, 15 Trialist (right-back), 17 Ibrahim Jalloh, 25 Harry Gardner
Subs: 9 Trialist (on for Jalloh, 46’), 12 Trialist (on for Robertson, 46’), 14 Trialist (on for ?, 75’), 18 Ben Parkinson (on for Trialist right-back, 46’), 19 Callum O’Keeffe (on for Gardner, 75’), 20 Ollie Turner (on for Deadfield, 46’)

Couldn't go yesterday but it's really not looking promising is it? The complete lack of any media or info being given out is also contributing to the least optimistic pre-season in years.

I agree a complete lack of information from the club just feels like there is no engagement with the fan base. This is the first year I haven't been to a PSF in 10yrs of following Hampton.

The fact trialists are still being used this late into pre-season is worrying.

No mention of Paul Field either. Looks like we could be going into our first few games with a team drawn mainly from level 3 and 4. Given our early fixtures this could be a chastening experience.

Well I've been to a couple of friendlies, can also probably get down to the Hanworth game and whoever we're playing next Saturday. But whatever the reason, the lack of engagement with the fanbase is possibly the worst ever. Even in pre-internet days there was more, when the Press guys like Ray, Adrian and then Les all did their extremely admirable and informative bits with the local paper etc.
I know there has been loads to address this summer but this is the modern world and this stuff is important. it's been said that Seb White was taking it over again, and that's great, very positive, but any idea when?

Rather unfair bearing in mind there was a comprehensive engagement from the Chairman just a couple of weeks ago in which amongst very many other things he did address this actual issue during pre-season.
Of course it would be good if we had more regular updates and perhaps we would if we had someone volunteering to assist with updating social media.

Paul Field was there and warming up at half time, I didn't see him make an appearance but to be honest I could well have missed it.
