Tonbridge Angels are asking supporters and interested parties to object to a planning application for a development to the north of their site which would include loss of land currently within their lease. Tonbridge & Malling Council are trying to make an extension of the club's lease conditional on acceptance of this incursion. Tonbridge & Malling Council do not have a good history when it comes to the football club, they turfed them out of the Angel Ground in the town centre and the club had to fight to secure their current Longmead home, which is on the northern edge of town.
