Beautiful sunny day, typical last day of the season weather.
Loads of Enfield Town fans have come dressed as jockeys.

FT:1-0 win. A very typical end of season game but nice to finish with a win!

Fitting that RGC got the goal. We dominated most of the game but were a bit shot shy.

A win to end the season, against a very poor Enfield Town side.
Could have got a lot more, their keeper made a couple of good saves.
Nice send off from the Hampton fans for Ruaridh Donaldson, who retired today.

Good to round the season off with a win, in a nice positive atmosphere. Dowse has done a very good job in keeping us up when we looked unlikely to win again before Julian departed. The summer could be interesting, and I wouldn't mind betting quite a few player changes will be on the cards.
Fitting that the Bev was the setting for Ru Donaldson's final game...anyone hear why he's retiring? He can't be that old and I thought he had a very solid game today.

I heard he has a new job and is relocating to Sweden. Had a decent job at Deloitte while in London I believe and made a solid contribution in his years at the Bev.
Wasn't he even top scorer for us somehow one season?

2021/22 - top scorer with eight goals
2022/23 - joint top scorer with Alfy Whittingham with six goals

Happy end to the season. Enfield not great. We looked a bit drained but went about it professionally.
