Effectively a game of four teams with each side putting out a different XI in the two halves. For the record we won each half 1-0, with goals from Max K and a trialist. New keeper Pat Nash saved a second half penalty after Rohan Ince brought down the Villa forward. Yes, Ince is still with us but not under contract so no doubt looking to prove his fitness. Our first half team was mainly the known signed players less Fonguck and Akpan who appeared in the second period. Fairly even game and competitive with few chances either end but Max K scored with a glancing header from a Widdrington cross. We lined up 3-5-2 and looked pretty solid at the back. Second half we dominated possession much more but lots of trialists involved against unknown quality of Villa's second string. Couple of players did well. Only been able to identify a couple but won't give out names.I have no idea if any are close to being signed.

Why would you not mention the names.
I wouldn’t worry about scouts checking our forum!

Thought we looked reasonably solid, and even pretty good at times, but Hanworth won't pull up any trees this season...our keeper hardly had a shot to save in the first half. Decent workout in the heat though.

The club may be in negotiations with some of them and I might be wrong anyway!

Rohan Ince must be at the very last ditch end of the last chance saloon...

I assume the main one would need to drop baller league especially after Dowse’s pre season interview
