A poor Berkhamsted Town were no match for an in-form Hampton. Bryan ran the hosts defence ragged with his impressive pace. Reilly stooped to head in Moore’s cross in the 21st minute. Bryan put the Beavers 2-0 ahead when he slammed in Pratt’s flick-on. Hampton then scored twice more in the 76th & 77th minutes. Bryan outran the home defence and then Vines lobbed in the fourth from 22 yards.
Derek Bryan scored 7 goals in 17 appearances before signing for Brentford at the start of the 1997/98 season.
