Think most of us would agree with this.

Does the club have a history of this?
It depends on whether they have actually signed a contract or just said they will or they willbe on non contract terms. I guess until it’s signed and registered with the League it is not irreversible. No reason to think they won’t all follow through. We’ve seen a few occasions when we have announced signings then backtracked after seeing players in pre season. Remember Arthur Iontton last summer?

Many years ago I remember talking with Roy Philpott about this and he said there was a manager at Wembley Town who would think nothing of trying to “tap up” players in a pre season friendly against them. This was in the days of “amateur players”.

That was a strange one..Played football league and was still young, looked a good signing but offered nothing in pre season and looked a nothing player..

I like CKB and hope he pushes on next season with more goals and assists. Needs to see out more 90 minutes and play more games in succession. I think we were beginning to see that towards the end of the season. In many ways like Barzey, plenty of skill and potential that needs to turn into consistent delivery.

Would agree that he is starting to look a very useful player. Don’t think he got the game time with Gary and when he did come on it was at right back.
Now we need Inman, Fernandez and Julian to made it a strong base for next season.

This evening is, I imagine, the last training session of the season, hopefully it might give the players that have not committed themselves a chance to sign up .
As for new players, I would expect there to be a delay whilst current contracts are completed especially if their current side continues to play into May.
