This will be the play of final for the Isthmian South Central promotion place. Both sides won with late goals in their semis from ex Beavers, Harry Mills and George Wells. Should be a cracking final on Sunday.

Genuinely think this could go either way, although the home advantage might count for a lot as Walton have been pulling the crowds in recently.

According to the Pyramid, the 2 promoted teams from Isthmian Div 1 South Central go into Southern League Premier South. The champions, Basingstoke Town and one other. That means visits to Plymouth Parkway, Tiverton, Dorchester etc, bit of a step up for whichever club gets through the play off final, as both were in the Combined Counties last season.

Bizarre choice.
Walton & Hersham historic rivals of Hampton/HRBFC.

Hanworth Villa smaller local club with lots of links to HRBFC lots of ex players and now staff and volunteers.

HRBFC Academy and Junior teams use Villas facilities as dont have enough of their own.

And of course the annual fundraiser charity match between the two clubs.

I’m not fussed about the staff and volunteers being there now, the club has always been quite rough in my opinion and I have never liked going there, I remember when we played Jerome Federico in a game against them illegally by accident and they hurled abuse towards us every time they played us.

I also have some close ties to people playing for Walton hence my choice to support them over Hanworth.
