Apparently Ashford (Middx) are also planning to install a 3G pitch next season but doing so mid season.

Work started last week on a new 3G pitch at Bottom meadow. Home of Sandhurst and Bracknell Town.FC.

I don't think anybody really knows, its just interesting to see whats happening with other clubs. Will pass Beveree on my jog tomorrow morning so will have a little peek and see if anythings happening.

I had a look through the Beveree gates this afternoon. No sign of any work being started as yet.

Let's hope Louis's fortnightly newsletter provides some answers tomorrow. Though, if the owners had any regard for supporters, they would have provided updates on the normal club website. If there's a delay, fair enough, I think supporters could understand that provided they were kept in the loop but this secrecy only raises suspicions.

Let’s hope we get an update this week. If not and nothing for a couple of weeks then the chances of everything being ready for the start of the season are slim.

It's already too late to be ready for the start of the season.
We all know the drainage isn't great, well that will no doubt take weeks of work first...... artificial pitches need drainage too.

I have it on good authority that work starts in earnest at the Beveree this morning. Beginning, I gather, with the removal and replacement of the asbestos roofing on the old main stand and the covered terrace. If anyone's passing in due course, they maybe able to corroberate this.

As of 1:30pm Monday, the ground is closed and no sign of any workmen or any activity today.
