The final preseason game, compared with other teams in our division we have played less games than them, perhaps our squad was more settled than others?
Might get further insight into Mel’s thinking , but it looks like he will alter team and formation to suit the game.
For many of us we will have to wait till September to see the team, but hopefully after some encouraging results.

Looks like our expected first choice starting line up except for Gray. Hope this team shows us a bit more than previous games. I’m at Walton v Hashtag Utd, two promoted teams from last season and both expected to be challenging for promotion to the NLS.

I was one of the few there - having driven down to Salisbury.
First half was not great, the home side just shading it, but Deadfield had a good half-volley, on target, well-saved by the 'keeper. Thomas also got in behind the defence and slid a ball across the six yard box that was just snaffled away from under the nose of Bloomfield. At the other end, Jools made one good save from their best chance - a flicked header.
Second half, much better, we largely dominated having got the two early goals. In the end the scoreline pretty well reflected the game.
