The seventh and last away game against a team that lost at Truro last game where we managed a win. Not that this means a lot!
Can’t work out the team selection or formation as things seem to be varied.
Hope Bloomfield gets a goal against his old club, we just need to find the right formula up front and be prepared for the home team bombing in high balls to an ex player in Alfie Pavey and others.

No not going to Farnborough. Had my wheels nicked last time i was there. I am off to watch cricket. Will be at the Bev Sunday to see the new pitch and flood lights. I expect Farnborough to play the long ball like Shep says and beat us.

Up the Farnborough

1-0 Farnborough penalty after Whittingham needlessly tripped in the box after a poor touch. Pavey scored. Up until then game was very even but no chances for either side.

HT 1-0. Late on ref awarded us a pen for a foul on Whittingham but then changed his mind after consulting the linesman. It was definitely outside the box so justice was done.

2-0 Pavey header. Again errors at the back as Wishart miscontrolled a throw out from Desbois, then we failed to clear our lines. Poor goal to concede shades of Aveley.

Heads have gone down after conceding the goal. Seymour and Hall on.

3-0. Another error as we let a long ball bounce into the area and Holmes curls a great shot wide if Desbois. Turning into another really poor performance.

3-0. Nowhere near good enough, we've completely gone to pieces in the second half.

3-1 own goal after Wishart fired one across the box and heavy deflection took the ball past the keeper.
