Putting this in a day earlier as away for a few days!

THOSE WERE THE DAYS
September 27th 2003
F A Cup 2nd Qualifying Round
HRBFC 2 Kingstonian 1 Att; 560
Allen, O’Connor

Adrian Blake; Steve Omonua, Sam Okafor, Paul Kelly, Rob Paris (Craig Webster), Alan Inns, Jamie Jarvis, Richard O’Connor (Obinna Ulasi), Adrian Allen (Lee Channell), Marcello Fernandes, Andy Morley.
Unused Subs; Eric Kwayke, Carl Levene

All the action in this F A Cup came in the second half, after a largely scrappy first forty-five minutes. Early in the second period Allen followed up on an O’Connor deflected shot and fired home from six yards. Twice Mark Beard had chances to equalise but midway during the second half O’Connor scored Hampton’s second after good work by Omonua. Ten minutes from time K’s substitute Scott Steele pulled a goal back, his shot flying through a crowd of players.

Marcello Fernandes probably massively under rated because of the players he played with, so versatile and must have played 5 different positions at least while at the club.

Totally agree. He was actually a real unsung hero of the Devonshire years, as was Graham Harper to some extent.
