Would much rather this is postponed, given how fatigued the players will be after Saturday, would much rather they have the extra rest.

3G not liked by all, tho' helps keep most matches on, income flowing and the community going, and reduces fixture backlog

St Albans thumped Torquay 4-0 away . Two for Jeffers.

Just watched the highlights. St Albans hit the bar twice as well and had plenty of other chances. Looked very good particularly down their right hand side. Hard to say how bad Torquay were though.

They are also top of the form league, we are 16th.

From Mel’s comments this morning sounds as if we won’t risk Fernandez Tuesday and may have a couple of other injury doubts. Also looking to get further players in this week which makes the Whittingham loan look a little odd.

You may be right about Fernandez Tony.
Mel suggests that there are a couple more players who might not be available and that the player coaches might be pressed into action. As for incoming players, he suggested they could come in for Tuesday, if not later in the week. I would hope they might be more experienced and from clubs higher up the pyramid. Time will tell!
As for Whittington, he was looking for game time, lives close to Havant and came through their youth system, one presumes Mel feels his development is better served down there, if we recruit better players than him, then one can see the wisdom of Mel’s action.

Tough game tonight. We will need to keep a tight rein on Jeffers. Good luck. The Club Car thinks it will be a 1.0 Hampton win.
