Another tough game against a team just below us in the league. What team and formation we play might be decided by who is fit as we could be without both Seymour and Bloomfield. This might determine how our winning run continues. Might end up a draw which given injuries, might be the likely result.

Mel said in his post match comments that Bloomfield felt a muscle tweak and was taken off as a precaution. Doubt we’ll see him tonight given the Trophy tie with Southend on Saturday.

I guess the point is that 1945 BST would be 1845 tonight.Josh2002 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 2:50 pmNot sure what your point is.Mucky knees wrote: ↑Tue Dec 05, 2023 1:59 pm Anyone seen the match poster on Facebook kickoff time 1945 BST D'OH!!!

EDIT: I'm not really sure that it's much of a problem though. Anyone who looks at that poster and turns up expecting an 1845 KO is clearly just trying to find faults.

With a couple of injuries we looked very disjointed tonight and looked more like the side that struggled at the start of the season to create chances and goals. Long ball tactics and lack of pressure on the ball saw very little goalmouth action in the first period. We had a better 10 minute spell at the start of the second half and then the game petered out until Braintree scored with a deflected shot after 82 mins. With a stroke of luck we got a very late penalty for a trip on Seymour who rescued an unlikely point with our first shot on target after 90+ minutes. Not a game that will last long in the memory.
