I see that Dick Parsons is retiring, at the end of the season, as Club Secretary.
Dick has done it all at Beveree. Not just Club Secretary for the last few years, but also as Chairman for 3 years between 1975 and 1978 - elected at the age of 27, when Dick was described as a local journalist. Programme Editor, Press Officer and goodness knows what else in the last 50+ years. Dick was also a respected referee.
Dick, one of those loyal servants that a non-league club cannot function without. Dick has also served as a club representative for the National League (South).
Well regarded within those in the non-league community.
And, a jolly nice chap, to boot!
