....have lost their manager David Noble to Wealdstone in the NL (Wealdstone's previous manager has taken over at Notts County). Quite a step up for someone who has only managed for a couple of seasons at NLS level.

The St Albans forum appear to be accepting this, but as has been pointed out already he has not had a great deal of management experience. Mel knows him from previous clubs, so might have a better insight into his capabilities. It will be interesting as to what happens to their team, wondering if this might see Jeffers moving!
