I am genuinely trying to understand what the motivation is here if previous statements are to be believed.
I guess we are trying to leverage an opportunity for publicity for the club which we shouldn't pass up...?

It's certainly a long old bus ride to a home match from "second official partner pub".

The Ted Lasso strategy maybe smart but are the owners aware that Apple are not planning any more new series?

The people behind Ted Lasso included an AFC Wimbledon fan.
I watched the first couple of episodes and it was clear as day their were references taking the **** out of Hampton.
The colours, and many other things.
Ted Lasso is a **** take of Hampton by an AFC fan, so to then link HRBFC or HamRich to Ted Lasso is utterly embarrassing, the guy must be laughing non stop.

I would rather pay the bus fare to have an overpriced pint at The Prince’s Head than have a £1 discount to drink at The World’s End.

One would imagine that the club will strike a partnership with The Jolly Coopers?

I thought that, the Jolly Coopers must have sponsored at supported the club for 20+ years, but with all the local sponsor boards being removed and seemingly no interest in local sponsors the relationship may well have been lost, I'm all for the big corporate sponsors to get the big bucks in, but local sponsors also have a place.
