Farnborough here on Saturday is an opportunity to get three points as we look to maintain our playoff place.
Farnborough under Spencer Day remain in mid table. Day’s interviews after games are often worth a smile! He brings a team with several Slough connections his assistant Neil Baker was their manager for a number of years. Keeper Turner has played against us many time for both Staines and Slough, Likewise midfielder Kuhl has played against us for Slough and is currently on loan from Dorking. Pruti is a 22 year old left sided central defender is another loan player from Hartlepool, he caught the eye at Slough was snapped up by Brentford B and later transferred to Hartlepool.

They beat us easily at their place earlier in the season, one of our poorest performances. They will be tough opposition and Mel needs to find a way to make sure counter their threat and create more efforts on goal. They won’t be as weak as Weymouth were defensively.

Watch the highlights of their game with Torquay where they unlucky not to win. Their left back Norville -Williams has a strong shot and would need to be watched.

I wonder if the downpour at lunchtime and at 4pm will have waterlogged the pitch? More rain expected tonight.

I am sure the club will look at the pitch in the morning and if it is considered necessary, will have a referee in to give a verdict.
