Dover here on Saturday

Well the last home game of the regular season. It is a must win game. Dover have already been relegated so they are playing for pride.
We know this may well be the last game at Beveree before Inman goes to Australia. There may well be others who will fall into the same category.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 or so exit but don't know status of contracts.

Only Truro and Taunton are below us in the form chart! The last six games have been the worse run of the season.

Totally agree...not even on the bench. Very sad indeed.

Well we said it was a must win, and win we did. Farnborough losing means we are now back in the play offs! One more win would confirm a place. Pitblado superb again, our most underrated player and showing why he deserves to be starting.

Strangely the play offs are back in our hands as we managed to beat relegated Dover 1-0 and more importantly Farnborough lost at home to Taunton. We need one point from two games to keep ahead of Farnborough who have to play Weymouth. Aveley still have a shout with one game left on 70 points but we have a five goal better goal difference. They could also overtake us if we lose our last two games or get one draw and lose heavily in the other.

We now go to St Albans on Tuesday who have collapsed since we last played them and are out of the play off picture. Win that and we are assured of a play off place. Anything else and it’s down to the last game at Maidstone.

If we do manage to get into the play offs then either away to Braintree or Maidstone.

Chelmsford and Worthing could also still finish fourth.

Back to Deano - agree it was a shame he didn’t even get on the bench for a “swan song” or perhaps an on pitch introduction/thank you in the same way as Alan Julian.

Deano has posted a photo on his Instagram story with him on the pitch with a signed shirt. The file is too big to upload here, so hopefully this link works. https://www.instagram.com/stories/dean_inman90/
