St Albans City away
St Albans have lost five and drawn one of their last six, worst current form in the division. The loss of David Noble to Wealdstone seems to have triggered a collapse in their promotion push and they now are out of the play offs. All of which should play heavily to our advantage. We really don't want to be going to Maidstone needing a result.

I listened to their manager’s interview after the Worthing defeat. They have accepted they will not make the playoffs but in some ways that makes them more difficult. They score lots of goals but their defence is poor. Can’t seen us getting too many goals given our recent record, so it might be a case of stopping them scoring and trying to grab a goal!
Looks like the game will be on National League TV

Pretty sure we would prefer playing a team with no play off incentive rather than one that needed the points! But I don’t think it will be in any way easy.Shepperton Supporter wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 10:00 am I listened to their manager’s interview after the Worthing defeat. 1-0 StAlbans after 8 mins with their first attack of the game. Looked like a miss hit cross that went over Desbois into the far corner. We gave them far too much space on the right wing and didn’t track the runner. Gray has just missed an easy chance after keeper error.
