The brothers Tweedle do seem a little quiet at present. Perhaps recent events don't play into their narrative.

Maybe it is time for Jacque to comment. He is still President? And he seems to be involved/present at home games still.

I believe Jacques is still the Chairman of the Board. He could maybe be contacted at chairman@hamptonfc.co.uk or chairman@hamptonfc.net or chairman@hrbfc.co.uk or maybe chairman@hamrich.com or any other club email address that's been mentioned in the last few months.

There is nothing to stop the Trust to issue a statement - reviewing the season/ thanking Mel for his contribution and maybe a hint of what is coming in the next few weeks and months.

All I can say is don’t set the manager expectations too high!

I get an impression that this has come as something of a surprise to the players, if so, then it might have been also to the club? It is normal for departing managers to speak to the players upon leaving, so he might have enlightened them?
We await further communications hopefully fairly soon!

Massive deficit in funding, spent way beyond their means, now paying the price.
No Manager would go anywhere near those two!
To be honest I've long been wondering if we need a contingency plan, just in case we are ever left in the lurch...
Don’t panic Captain Mainwaring!

I hear he’s available and cheap. On the down side he’s got no non-league experience and has been dead for 82 and a half years.

Perhaps you are not aware of the close connections between Fred Karno and Hampton, his houseboat is still at Hampton and is used as a recording studio by Pink Floyd’s Dave Gilmore. Whilst his hotel was on Taggs Island, in the early days of the club I believe it was the venue for the club’s end of season dinner. No doubt Les can fill in more details?
