Our number one has been called up to the England U19 squad for games against Portugal, Netherlands and France. Games will take place on the 8th, 12th and 14th October respectively.

A big loss for us, but a great achievement for Ted. Assume this means Ollie Davies will now step up.

If it is three games then suspect we might look for a loan.

This happened last season when he was also on loan , this was always going to be a possibility and highlights the vulnerability you have with loans. Jules will have to decide if Davies is ready or get in a short term replacement.

Looks like he should just miss the St Albans game on the 12th. However they have games in November as well which coincide with our first game in the FA Trophy on the 16th. Thankfully we don’t have any midweek fixtures around these international breaks limiting the impact.

Or put his gloves back on himself.

I see Ted has again been called up to the England U19 squad. For games against Lithuania(13/11), Bulgaria(16/11) & Belgium (19/11). Ted will therefore miss the Yate Town game in the Trophy. I guess we will either see the other Chelsea lad again or the lad who played against Harrow.

It might be that Davies left because the Chelsea loan player was brought in ahead of him when Curd was last on international duty.

Ollie Davies played for the Under 19s ,the day after the Harrow Borough match so he would he is still with the Academy.

Not involved for England today. A West Ham keeper starts and an Arsenal one is on the bench.

Ted again the odd one out of the 3 keepers and does not make the bench. The keeper starting has changed though so maybe he’ll get the nod in the final game.
