On our travels again to play a team a couple of steps below us in the football pyramid. They are riding high in their league so it promises to be a difficult game. Hopefully our current form will see us through.

Classic banana skin tie. A test of our mental toughness as much as our ability.

Had a look at their squad list after the tie got drawn, a few familiar names that we have encountered in the past mainly having played for Weston Super Mare & Bath. So got some experience of Step 2 in their ranks.

Let's hope the team are inspired by tonight's Beaver Supermoon.

No Keeya, Masampu or French again in the squad. I heard French is injured but don’t know about the other two. Hope Keeya is not another Babajide. Vilhete on the bench, replaced by Wall. Sorondo in for Hunt.

It's good that we have match commentary today, but disappointing that Louis Fell's mic is not working and they haven't realised (now 30 minutes in). We keep getting long periods of since when Louis is talking and there doesn't seem to be any way to get a message to the commentary team on X Spaces.
Was a much better setup when we did commentary on Milxr in my opinion - we could have messaged the guys on that platform.

Mixlr was much better but perhaps we have to use X with the brothers being Musk fanboys.

The commentary on X kept cutting out for me, and was a lot harder to connect to than Mixir ever was.

Good performance. Yate were very solid defensively and were tough to break down, both our goals coming from errors from their defence. The first saw a seemingly mis hit cross from Vilhete headed into his own net by a Yate defender when it looked as if the keeper had it covered. Their keeper didn’t cover himself in glory for their second, as he spent too long on the ball which allowed Vilhete to win it off him and walk the ball in. Yate didn’t really cause us many problems, aside from a late volley that was well saved by Crampton, meaning we got a professional job done to put us in the hat!
