I doubt Monks had much say, his arrival was announced quite late into pre-season, and we had already signed up a lot of players. Also would doubt Dowse would want to be a manager of a club where someone else is making the signings.

I see we had no player names on the back of the shirts on Saturday.
Does anyone know if that is a just a temporary start-of-the-season thing or if we are reverting to nameless shirts this season?

Would be disappointing to go to back to nameless shirts after taking the step to have them previously ...
