"Wimbledon" are on it - now named MK Dons

AFC Wimbledon formed in 2002, impossible they could have won a cup in 1988.

Dan Wishart played for North Greenford in the Middlesex Charity Cup Final tonight.

Hmmm, I don't like it when clubs do that.
Has he been dual registered for them for a while, isn't there a rule you have to have played in a previous game etc.
Can't stand it when clubs do this to draft in players from higher up to boost their team at the end of the season, especially finals.

I remember the debacle when Hampton played Hayes (& Yeading?) in the county cup final, and they started the match with 2 ineligible players.
The match ended up being replayed.

Looks like justice was done as North Greenford lost.

It was Yeading FC (pre merger with Hayes). 2004/05.
