That's been the same for several seasons running. Unlikely to change now.

New signing: Michael Atkinson, midfielder.

Appears to come from the sort of level we are now expecting - Basingstoke, Bracknell, Walton Casuals, Farnborough.
Looks like his season ended in February this year with a hamstring injury.

Farnborough would be a real treat for a signing. Basingstoke finished mid table in Southern League Premier South last season.

Seems to have had injury issues of late let’s hope all behind him As has been commented already, we are not able to complete with clubs financially. Think we must realise that very few if any, of last season’s squad will remain as we cannot pay their current contracts. Our only hope is that if the majority go then there might be some funds available.

I see he played this season alongside Dan Rowe, the striker that joined us for a while towards the end of the season last year. Hopefully Michael makes the transition up a level more smoothly than Dan did.

Jordan Cheadle has signed on again! Hardly played at all last season and didn’t reappear after getting injured in November.

Jordan is a big lad and Alan likes that presence and fells he is good on the ball which is no doubt true. His problem however is his lack of pace. Whenever he played last season that's what stood out.

Of all the players from last season.Jordon was not one I would havre expected to return given his injury record. He probably feel he owes us something from last season. Let’s see how things plan out.

He was one of the players I had hoped we would have hung onto. Wonder if Mel was involved? If he was on a longer contract then hopefully we got a transfer fee. Would not surprise me if Seymour goes the same route.
It now looks like with the exception of Gray none of last season’s regular squad will be with us. Think we may have told players on longer contracts and their agents that we just want players gone to save money. No doubt other clubs are also aware.
Our gloomy predictions are coming to being turn into fact.
