A goalkeeper? I see Slav Huk has joined Horsham from Dorking, so not him. Think we need further recruits at CB and CF and some cover at full back.
Seven of the announced squad have injury questions against their names. We might be lucky that the problems are sorted but somehow doubt we’ll be that lucky. Pre season should sort out just how much risk we are taking on.

I did mention several keepers some posts back, the Havant keeper is now fixed up. Ex Hitchin keeper Charlie Horlock would be handy but is also linked with Slough.
As for requirements, Tony is similar to my thoughts, Keeper, Central defender perhaps two , striker. With the increase in substitutes then a back up keeper . It will rest on the budget, it might be a season long loan from a league club for a young keeper might be a solution, we have seen some very good examples in recent seasons in our league.
Might get some news shortly?

As Tony mentioned about his injury record. It might be that we are not in a position to have first pick due to our budget restrictions.
Wish him well, now all we need is ?!
Surely with Alan Julian and Luke Ruddick's contacts at Brentford there must be a goalkeeper amongst their B Team, that would be looking for regular game time.
They seem to have a whole teams worth of keepers on heir books.

True Brentford have several keepers but they are a premier club. They tend to loan keepers out into football league clubs. They did loan Winterbottom to Welling last season but he has been added to their first team squad. He might be fifth choice but they may want him loaned out higher up the pyramid. I did mention an ex Brentford B keeper Rico Rees released by Worthing.

From my list of possible keepers Tolfrey has moved. I included him rather “tongue in cheek “.

Just wonder if the Debois situation has altered Julian ‘s plans?

Interesting comments from the Chairman, seems we have 17 players signed with a loan on top. Players meeting tonight and first training on Saturday. Think he said 20 plus coming for training.
Assume we will have some names soon, let’s hope these names will excite us as James Roberts did!
One point that was cleared up we have 5 subs, only the national League have gone to 7. All five can be used so half the team could be changed during a match.
We await player news over the next few days.

A pleasant surprise as Dom Revan commits to next season. He may have been on contract anyway but then again so were others who have departed. Wonder if he will play primarily at CB or RB.

Interesting comment on where he plays, personality I would put him at right back if we can get a more experienced and dominant central defender.
That’s 14 still more names to be released, club like to drag these signings out!

Enjoyed him at RB when allowed to venture forward.

At the moment some doubts over the fitness of the only two CBs on the books, Cheadle and Wiltshire, so Revan could be a better alternative. Cheadle and Wiltshire hardly played last season. Need more cover at CB I think.

From the email from the club there is a suggestion of more signings over the next few days. Hope it is true?
