Indeed an interesting move. I wonder what budget he will get to deploy. Cheshunt currently struggling in 17th place.

Good luck to them. Some of our football was bloody awful at times last season and our run in, where we should easily have got a playoff place, was frankly embarrassing.

Mel replaced Craig Edwards who had been their manager for 7 years. He left because he felt he could do no more. How Mel gets on may depend on his budget. He is going to have to operate at a level below.
Might we worth keeping an eye on what happens there over the next few months.
