Good news is it's still 0-0.
Farnborough totally on top, all we've had are a couple of breakaways one shot just over and one just wide.

0.0 Thats it start The club car Mr Barbel lets get out of here. Att 1267. Take the point and move on to next game. Which is Dorking at Home who lost today. And had a player sent off. See you down the Bev Marc White.
It didn’t get much better in the second half and Farnborough were furious that a goal was disallowed for offside in the 90th minute. Seemed ok to me but need to see the replay. Not sure why neither Page nor Sorondo were brought on for a very struggling midfield. Defence deserved some credit today but that’s about it.

Awful game.
Farnborough couldn't shoot and we couldn't keep the ball.
Farnborough had the ball in the net on 90 minutes, but it was disallowed for offside.
Ted Curd made a couple of good saves, the home keeper also doing like wise.
All in all I would have taken a point at 3:00pm.

Thank goodness Farnborough's finishing was laughable as we could have lost about 3-0 and had no complaints whatsoever. I'd have taken a point beforehand but it was still a very poor game from both sides point of view.
Sorondo got a start in the FATrophy but doesn’t seem to be trusted to come on in the league if the last few games are anything to go by. Is he still struggling with injury? Both Keeya and Hunt struggled all afternoon to get on terms with the Farnborough midfield and Hunt also was on a yellow card in the second half. Surely a good time to see if either Sorondo or Page could wrest back the initiative? Jalloh came on for Roberts but added nothing and the game became very open when we needed to assert some control.
Spencer Day is fuming at the ref after the two disallowed goals and was booked after the game. I suspect his comments could lead to further sanctions if he is not careful. The first one looks like their player was offside when the ball took a slight deflection past Curd. I hadn’t seen the deflection in the game. The angle is not conclusive but the linesman flagged it. Second one, the ref blew immediately and our defenders stopped so hard to say we wouldn’t have put in a challenge to stop the shot. But fair enough, we rode our luck and Farnborough’s finishing was poor. Alan Julian’s comments suggest he knew we got away with it a bit today. Dorking’s finishing is much better so need to be on it on New Year’s Day.

Can't believe that he has never been booked before.

Spencer Day not very happy after the game. But the ball clearly deflected off a offside Farnborough player . The Lady Ref booked him and then asked for £600 expenses. As she came from Sheffield.
