48 points should be enough to stay up.
- I can’t see Welling winning all four of their remaining games.
- I can’t see St Albans getting enough points to overtake us given they have to play Truro, Eastbourne and Enfield.

Although I can't truthfully see us getting another point, that scenario may well be what actually happens.
I feel sorry for Jules. Clearly the budget has been cut but we need more info on the situation with Roberts...did I mishear or in his post match interview did Jules say he wasn't selected? If so, why? The lack of openness is becoming an embarrassment. What's Roberts done to not be selected? Until we're told, it seems like madness.

Think the reason for Roberts not been selected is financial.,We have not scored in the past three games and on the evidence of today that might continue.
As whether the 48 points would be good enough, if you look at the remaining fixtures of Salisbury, St Albans., Enfield and Welling then not all of them can get maximum points, so there is a glimmer of hope!
If we survive, then it is next season is the worry, we just need to sort out the ownership issue. There are rumours going round with some interesting topics, some of which I just don’t believe. Others might seem to have some sense behind them. Let’s hope these come to fruition!

Dunno what Shep has heard but the ones I heard today involved the current owners wanting to sell for a ludicrous amount and a potential new owner offering much less.

Once again whoever let the brothers take control has let the club and supporters down. Where did all the money really go!

Lord Elpus if that is close to the truth then it will take one relegation or maybe two to get rid of the current owners. Only then will they sell for a realistic price which is probably nothing. If we stay two promotions from the EFL then they will hold out. That's the fukcing mess the club has found itself in.

I've no idea how true it is, as I say, it was a rumour I heard from a couple of different sources this afternoon. It's definitely a mess though. But however much I'd like us to stay up, I'd much rather still have a club to support in another 10 or 20 years time, and if it takes a couple of relegations for them to leave us in peace then it might be a price worth paying.

The rumours are pretty much correct.

The Italian clowns have been made an offer to buy the club but they have dismissed it as derisory. In essence it doesn’t meet their valuation despite the fact that they haven’t put their hands in their own pockets and have spent investors cash to try and fulfil their dream of being sporting entrepreneurs. This pair are delusional and so full of their own publicity it is embarrassing. Unfortunately due to this they will not back down in order to allow the club to move forward. Regrettably it could well end up in a similar situation to Staines town whereby a knight in shining armour came forward to relieve the previous owner of the club the financial burden but didn’t have the means or financial accumen to make good on his promises and let the club slide into oblivion rather than do the decent thing and give it back to the fans and community.

I’m afraid to say the previous chairman and majority owner has been complicit in this and bears the majority of the responsibility.

The Italian twats won’t back down as their shares cost them bugger all so they aren’t loosing anything and certainly won’t admit they weren’t up to the promises they made.

I think that is the rumour that we have all heard, but it has probably come from the one person, that person tells two people and soon it multiplies and everyone thinks it's true.

Let’s hope the parties come to a sensible agreement. There is no real economic value in the club so I can understand why you wouldn’t want to pay out the brothers unless it was a modest sum for a clean break and control. Alternatively you reach an agreement to dilute their position in return for more investment which has a better prospect of creating some real value for all shareholders. This was the basis for the Ramayana takeover but as we have seen, that doesn't guarantee that value will be created. It rarely is at any club at any level. If the negotiation can’t be resolved fairly soon then players, managers, officials, volunteers etc may just start looking to better alternatives and who could blame them?

I’m not sure who you are referring to here but there has never been a majority owner until the Ramayana takeover. The club rules limited any one shareholder to a maximum of 30%.
