Thank goodness there was nothing to play for...as expected, a very flat, end of season feel to the game, and although Slough were about as poor as we were, they still had enough to edge ahead. Thank goodness that season's over, let's look forward to some new additions over the summer.

I think most or us feel the same!
The overriding thoughts in most supporter’s minds is who will be retained and who we will recruit. To my way of thinking the squad was always slightly unbalanced with too few central defenders and central strikers with excess of midfield players. This imbalance was exasperated by releasing of the likes of Byrd and Wall compounded in the last few matches with injuries especially in the centre of defence.
Julian did well to keep us up but perhaps the results and team selection over the final matches might have, on some folks mind, tarnished his reputation somewhat. Perhaps with hopefully a better budget and more off field stability, he will be able to demonstrate his true ability to manage this club into a much more acceptable position and give fans the standard of football and results we all crave for.
Hopefully we will not have too long to see the first signs of progress.

A very typical end of season game, neither team looked like scoring, but Slough took the chance they had from the spot. Focus now on next season.

Note the video carries captions!

We must be the only team in our division who doesn't caption the manager's post match comments...

Of course I might be wrong!

Noticed that Roberts played more centrally and might be his best position?
