Agree an interesting and informative talk by the Chairman. On the playing front, because of the uncertainty some of the better players have had offers from elsewhere, hopefully we might still get them to return? 5 have already signed for next season some returning and others new. Let’s hope some of the returning players are ones we need! As for signings again we all hope for players who are used to our level of football.
Ground work including the floodlights and pitch, fingers crossed that all will be ready for two home preseason games early in August.

Await further news.

Great update from the Chairman. Seems like much more will occur on infrastructure under new ownership (floodlights, irrigation, pitch) than the brothers liked to brag about.

Depends if he’s recovered from the serious injury.

Wasn't he training with the club at one point ? That would have given an opportunity to see how he's recovering.

Correct, I’d forgotten about that. Believe he also came to watch us a few times last season.

That could be interesting, if he is fit. Wasn’t he great mates with Pitblado?

Mention of keepers. Worthing look to be in the market for a keeper having released both of theirs who last season split their appearances. Haigh in the first half and Covolan in the second half on a short term contract.

Remaining with keepers Johnson has left St Albans and gone to Hemel.
Looking at lists there’s starting to see clubs announcing recruits and departures.

They have also signed another keeper Steve Arnold from Sutton. Very experienced 35 year old.
Just wonder if, with the 7 substitute rule next season, if clubs will keep a keeper on the bench?
