Yes, we are back in the days of Covid-19 and matches played in virtually empty stadiums, apart from those staff required to operate the Stadium. In the early going several chances came the way of the Beavers, Carvalho and Gray both having decent efforts. Dulwich gradually came into the game, Ronnie Vint skied a left-footed shot, Vint then shot over when teed up by Deon Moore. The game changed when in the 38th minute Hampton were reduced to ten men. Inman, under pressure from Danny Mills, attempted a back pass to Julian, but he got his feet all wrong, Mills seized the initiative and Inman was forced to bring him down - last man, red card. Jordan Higgs took the free-kick, the ball rebounded back off a post and Mills was first to the ball. Minutes later it was 2-0 to Dulwich and it was Mills, again, collecting a slide-rule pass, he beat Julian in a one-on-one situation. Despite changes made at half-time Hampton were struggling to keep Dulwich at bay, however against the general run of play, Hampton pulled a goal back. Muir and Gondoh set up Gray who was able to pass the ball into the far corner. Hampton then had a great chance to level the scores when Fisher was tripped in the area. Unfortunately, Muir’s penalty was easily saved by Charlie Grainger. Dulwich had a chance to extend the lead just before full-time but Cox was on the line to deny Moore.
