Sadly can't make it. Carshalton has former Hampton players Eddie Allsopp and Renedi Masampu and Hampton academy coach Steve Bates.
And former Academy player and first team debutant Charlie George (son of Mark).Thelittleowl1 wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2026 3:27 pm Sadly can't make it. Carshalton has former Hampton players Eddie Allsopp and Renedi Masampu and Hampton academy coach Steve Bates.

Devan Ghedia is also one of our academy lads I'm pretty sure. I'm told a few trialists and that the other goals were scored by Jordan Greenidge and Haydon VaughanTony wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2026 10:08 pm We won 3-2, only team news I can see is our third goal scored by Devan Ghedia of Hanworth Villa. Presumably a few trialists tonight? Anyone go?

Notes
- Haydon Vaughan opened the scoring in the eighth minute with a magnificent volley from just inside the 18-yard line, striking the ball cleanly into the bottom corner, he was set up by Trialist B.
- Jordan Greenidge’s goal was a left-footed strike from inside the area.
- I missed Devan Ghedia's goal, but I can confirm Devan plays for the Academy Under 18s side (as do Kai Cooper, George Starr, Jack Griffin, Tyler Andrew-Flower and Seve Cushing)
- Trialist C went off injured in the 85th minute, leaving Hampton finishing the game with ten men as all our subs had been used
- Harry Gardner took the Captain's armband from Mike Atkinson for the second half
- In the dugout for Hampton tonight were Alan Dowson, Luke Ruddick, Max Kretzschmar, Jack Pannett and physio Jeong-Ho An

I think Hanworth Villa's Under 18s side folded a few weeks ago and when they did George Starr and Jack Potter switched to Hampton's Under 18s, so Devan Ghedia may be another to make the switch as he has only appeared in the last few weeks I think.
Encouraging news. Should be ready for the close season.
