I wonder why there's still been no announcement re Ince, Silva, Kiernan, Fasanmade, Greenidge, Ziger and Gardener? I mean, in truth I'd only really be interested in keeping a couple of those, but surely we either want them or we don't?

We don’t seem to announce departures, or haven’t for a few years. I did see a rumour on twitter somewhere about Gardner maybe going to Walton.

Maxwell Mullins, formerly of Eastbourne and Aldershot joins.

Not clear what position he is going to play for us. CB for Aldershot but sees himself as a Nine. Joined Eastbourne midway though last season.

Yes, I've seen other clubs do similar. In truth though, I feel a bit sorry for social media people these days with the amount of changes, comings and goings etc. It really is never ending.

Dowse confirms that Ashley Akpan has had a medical check and will be ok. Sounds that if it doesn't work out it wont cost the club. Hope it works out that way but always a risk which such an injury.

Wasn't expecting him to stay but definitely expected him to stay at step 2. Decent player.

Feels a bit odd, if we haven't offered terms then why not just say players have been released. The lack of info suggests that maybe we have been in negotiation but they have decided to sign elsewhere. Fasanmade could be a bit hot and cold so not overly disappointed but that will depend on who we replace him with.

I agree, it does feel a bit strange, although I'd have been a bit surprised if we had wanted to keep him. Fasanmade seems to be one of those players who does just enough to warrant staying at the level but not really enough to actually be retained at one club for that long. There's quite a few of these around.

I thought Fasanmade did a good job for us but his playing time seemed to become more restricted as the season went on.
