Just found out that Shirley had a fall at home a few weeks ago and broke her hip. Out of hospital and is recuperating in Laurel Dene Care Home. For those that don't know Shirley she has been connected with the club since the late 1940s. Shirley is in her 90s and when the club was playing at Hatherop she went round collecting money to help the team pay its way. She even married one of the players
In her time she ran raffles, sold programmes, you name it she did it and is a loyal supporter. Get well soon..

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. I do hope we see her fully recovered and back at the Bev as soon as she is able.

She sits a couple of seats to my left below the old main stand. I wish her a speedy recovery...
