... I'm surprised nobody has been talking about this. It's not exactly classified information!
Are the works on schedule?

All going well. Just waiting for the grass seed to arrive.
Yes and a barbecue and a couple of deck chairs.
Seriously though folks, had a quick look yesterday and the surface is now ready for the top layer to be put down. However, the barriers need re-erecting ( possibly new ones?) plus restoring whatever we want to do at the top end of the pitch terrace cover, so still plenty to do.

I hope there's still going to be some covered terracing down the scoreboard end, it looked like it had all gone on the pics I saw. It'd be a real shame if there was no reference to Keith Hussey there either.

The Keith Hussey Stand was an embarrassment, just some scaffolding with a roof stuck on top.Lord Elpus wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2026 10:19 am I hope there's still going to be some covered terracing down the scoreboard end, it looked like it had all gone on the pics I saw. Hopefully a proper stand will be put up in it's place.
Dowse did mention, in one of his earlier interviews about a new stand. Maybe a new Keith Hussey stand is it.
